Cantonese noodles

You may try to cook at home your favourite healthy meals of our restaurant. Our chef Tomáš Kalina has published a book called "Noodle",which contains 30 healthy recipes with simple descriptions for preparation. The cookbook is publish in English as well.You can buy it either in our restaurant or in every bookshop. .

The chef of the Hotel Yasmin and the Noodle restaurant Tomáš Kalina shares in the book his interesting and healthy recipes that he has learnt during his journeys abroad. Some of those recipes you can try in our design restaurant Noodles. You can then compare whose food was cooked better.

Cantonese noodles ... for 2 persons ...

Ingredients: 80g pork strips (tenderloin), 80g Cantonese noodles (medium length eggless Asian style noodles), 60g bamboo shoots, 20g shi-take mushrooms - strips, 10g pak-soi or leek – coarsely cut, 1 tablespoon sunflower oil, 0.5 dcl oyster sauce, 30g cucumber.

Procedure:
Fry pork meat in the sunflower oil. Add bamboo shoots. Then gradually add mushrooms and fry for a while. Finally add oyster sauce and leek or pak soi. Season and possibly add oyster sauce (These noodles are not seasoned with anything else but oyster sauce). Garnish with cucumber cut in thin strips.

Cold cucumber gives the asian dish a typical contrast.The combination of for example sweet banana with hot sauce is in Asia very common.
